Soup recipe:

500ml chicken stock
3 cloves of garlic, halved
2 slices of ginger
2-3 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon Chinese Five Spice Powder
1 tablespoon mirin
1 teaspoon sugar (or more to taste)

optionally: add chilli powder/fresh chilli to taste. For extra tasty soup add some asian Chicken Powder to the soup.

Simmer for 5 minutes, adjust seasoning to taste.

Serve with:

Pork or Chicken marinated in garlic/soy sauce, soft boiled eggs, green onions, noodles.
